Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa, Fiji, The - Spa Details

The Heavenly Spa by Westin is nestled within a 14,531-square-foot meditation garden filled with indigenous plants and flowers and a lily lagoon. Twelve traditional bures--grass-covered huts made of wood, thatch, and river stones--are used as open-air treatment rooms and suites, soothing spa-goers with the fragrances of the surrounding flowers, the sound of hummingbirds, and the feel of cool ocean breezes. While every bure has an open-air shower and hydraulic treatment bed, the private spa suites--ideal for couples--have a private changing room, an air-conditioned lounge, and an outdoor bath.

Popular treatments include reflexology, marine algae body wraps and body scrubs, hot stone therapies, aromatherapies, body treatments, and Western and traditional massage therapies like the Fiji Bobo, which uses special Fijian oils. The spa facilities also feature steam rooms, outdoor hot tubs, a Vichy shower, a custom-made hydrotherapy tub, and jet showers. Adjacent to the spa is the Westin Workout Room, designed by Reebok. It has state-of-the-art cardiovascular and weight-training equipment. Outdoors is an 82-foot-long infinity-edge lap pool and a hot tub.
