The romantic tropical Vomo Island Resort is managed by Sofitel. The island, with its white sandy beaches encircled by a blue lagoon and coral reef is located just south of Fiji's well-known Yasawa group of islands, and a short 15 minute flight away from Nadi International Airport on Fiji's main island of Viti Levu.

The resort is a secluded hideaway, with less than 30 villas, and perfect for a vacation retreat, or as a Fiji honeymoon or wedding destination. Most of the villas are beachfront, some are hillside with spectacular views, and there is also a 2-bedroom villa (Royal Deluxe Villa).

'Senikai' is the Fijian word for flower and for centuries the 'Maramas' (ladies) of the villages in Fiji have used the fragrant and beautiful Fiji flowers to beautify and heal.

Capturing the serenity of Fiji's ecological mangroves combined with tranquil water surroundings Senikai creates the perfect ambience for therapeutic and pampering face & body treatments. Clients are required to arrive 45 mins prior to appointment to commence their Senikai Spa Village experience. Senikai chiefly bure promotes ancient herbs used for beautifying and medicinal purposes and their own locally made skin & body care products 'Essence of Viti'. An open air terrace is the perfect setting to relax with a therapeutic 'Yava' foot massage and 'Draunimoli' lemon tea. On completion of your individual consultation Fijian warriors escort you to your designated ritual bure for the ultimate Senikai experience.

Ritual bures can be utilized individually or as doubles. Selected bures have their own personalized 'Wai Tui' thalassotherapy plunge pool for hydrotherapy prior to commencing Senikai ritual.

Senikai rituals for our clients include a Senikai sulu and Fijian 'vava loga' scuffs. Complete your Senikai experience with a complimentary 'Isa lei' until we meet again massage at our Senikai Express - Nadi Airport on your departure.

The South Pacific Academy of Beauty Therapy is the very first of its kind in the region. Director / Principal Debra Sadranu, an Australian who saw the need for the appropriate introduction of this line of work catering to both locals and Fiji's Tourism Industry opened the first Institution in 1998. The Academy is located in modern premises in both Nadi and Suva. It offers the most up-to-date facilities, equipment and teaching techniques to ensure a comfortable learning and working environment. It offers girls a unique opportunity to study and attain a level of professionalism that will enable them to work both in Fiji and abroad.

The South Pacific Academy of Beauty Therapy is accredited with the Ministry of Education. Graduates attain a Diploma in Beauty & Spa Therapy and Certification of Assessment by the Advanced Association of Beauty Therapists, Cidesco Section, Australia. AABTh annual assessments ensure the academy maintains the highest of international standards.

The key course offered is a one year full-time Diploma Course in Beauty & Spa Therapy. The academy also offers certificate courses in Massage Therapy, Grooming & Make-up and Post Graduate Spa Management. Due to the rapid growth in the tourism industry, every year 95% of graduates attain employment opportunities.
