ESSENCE OF VITI - Viti means Fiji. The early settlers named Viti, Fiji. Essence of Viti is the essence of Fijian life.

Escape on a tropical journey of relaxing, cleansing, rejuvenating & healing rituals. Since ancient times Maramas (women) of the villages have utilized Fiji's natural resources for both beautification and medicinal purposes. From the youngest of age, children are massaged with pure coconut oil to promote skin suppleness and protection from the harsh tropical environment.

Fiji's marine and plant extracts with their beneficial and healing properties, offer a range of therapies including massage therapy, thalassotherapy & aromatherapy. Inspired and influenced by a variety of tropical fruits, flowers, sea mud and sea algae, Essence of Viti captures the Pacific way of restoring youthful appearance, skin radiance and promoting total rejuvenation and wellbeing.

By creating a naturally based skin and body care range utilizing local marine & plant extracts, Essence of Viti keeps the Fijian culture alive and helps provide employment and revenue for the local Fijian people.

Debra Sadranu, Managing Director of Essence of Viti, moved to Fiji in 1997 after working in the beauty industry in Sydney, Australia, as a professional beauty therapist accredited with the Advanced Association of Beauty Therapists CIDESCO Section, Australia.

Debra saw the opportunity to enhance the growth of the developing beauty industry in Fiji. As a result, Debra established the South Pacific Academy of Beauty Therapy, the first beauty school of its kind in the South Pacific. In 1998, she started the first Beauty Spa and from there expanded to a chain of Senikai Spas and thus the creation of Essence of Viti.
